Tournament structure explained
There's something for everyone at every level of play
Instead of trying to separate players by level, we thought it would be easier to let cold, hard cash do the work for us. Thus we have gone to a two-tier system wherein ALL players can now either pay a higher fee and play in the Cash Division level of tournaments where cash prizes are at stake, or players can pay the lower entry fee and play for fun and great prizes, such as t-shirts, towels, water bottles, AVP gear and much more.
By going to this simplifed format, players can decide for themselves what level they should be playing at.
In the Cash Division, prize money will be determined by the amount of the purse money for that tournament with a minimum purse of at least $200. The weeknight tournaments will be run similarly with the caveat that there is no minimum purse prize. In other words, since the entry fees for the Hot Summer Night tournaments are less, each particular night's purse could---and most likely will be---correspondingly less than the regular weekend tournaments.
